Go Heart!!

Surprise, this is Margaret.  I wanted to post today because it is the second anniversary of my heart transplant.  How can you ever be grateful enough for a gift so huge? It hasn't all been smooth sailing, but my heart is working well.  And I feel better than in the entire 7 years of my adventure.  Thanks go to my amazing husband and kids-could never have done it without you.  Thanks also to the many people who helped us in so many ways.  It was overwhelming.  Please join me in praying for the donor family, as they have an anniversary this week also.  What a generous gift they gave.

Two years ago, I went into the OR at 3AM.  The next thing I knew it was 4PM.  I looked at Jim and the kids and my first thought was, 'good, the kids made it here safely'.   The next thought was 's***, I'm alive!'  I still pretty excited about that being alive thing.
