Sorry it took a few days to get back and post info to the blog but life has been pretty busy these past couple of days.
Well the short and sweet of this visit was it was good news. The PET scan showed ‘no residual lymphoma’ and we really like those words. Her amyloid was stable which we also like. The visit with transplant was also good, the chemo did not affect her heart based on the all the tests they ran.
We also meet with Infectious Disease and the digestive issues are still there but they are getting better. They are doing a few more poop tests but they don’t think they will show anything. The general consensus is that as long as it is getting better we will wait and see if it goes away. We are hoping that it is from the chemo, it is not a big side effect of the chemo but it since she has ended chemo there has been a trend that it is getting better and some of the next tests would be a bit invasive so we are taking a wait and see approach and for now assume that it continues to keep getting better.
For once we get to wait a few months before going back for a visit to ‘the spa’, I am not sure what we will do with ourselves, not having to go back in three weeks.
And just as a FYI it was Rochester and it was raining but that did not shock us one bit.
Thanks for checking in!
